Given at the 2-7-2023 HOA Board Workshop

The following topics were discussed at the January 27, 2023, SSEP meeting. The meeting was held in the HOA conference room.

The SSEP committee topics of discussions:
1. The SSEP is continuing to work with North Fort Myers Fire department regarding possible different areas for future helicopter landing zones (LZ’s). Update - SSEP met with North Fort Myers fire department and Lee County EMS. There are two tentative landing zones, primary landing zone will be on North Mystic in the cleared area when entering on the left side and the secondary landing zone will be on the driving range. They are reviewing both areas and will be setting up a fly by.
2. The SSEP and the Florida forestry service met to discuss the possibility of prescribed Burn. However, it was recommended by the Forestry service that they come in and provide a 15-to-30-foot area that will be mulched, this will become the firebreak. There is more information that will be forthcoming such as schedule dates and approval by all government agencies and Magnolia. See attached map.
3. Residents expressed concern about too many openers to the Dennisport gate. Joyce is looking into ways to reset or restrict use of the gate.
4. Lights on the entry/exit gate arms were discussed and will follow up with information for the board.
5. There was follow up discussion regarding the radio antenna relocate and the installation of the generator at the guard house. Update – All costs have been submitted to the HOA and are waiting on a response.
